Bellcor Engineering is looking for a talented addition to join our engineering firm. We are looking for someone who is interested in and committed to the development and design of complex commercial, residential and institutional projects. The candidate must be eligible to be registered as a Certified Engineering Technician.

YOU HAVE:

• Experience to draft quality structural drawings  

• A precise attention to detail

• General understanding of construction and construction procedures  

• The ability to complete on-site structural reviews and prepare technical site instructions  

• The ability to review shop drawings

• The ability to support Bellcor’s engineering team in the project delivery of bridges, buildings, industrial projects and marine structures

• The ability to prepare proposals, design criteria, preliminary designs, detailed engineering specifications, and reports

• The people skills to liaise with clients, government and regulatory authorities, and contractors

• The drive to develop and enhance client relationships and business growth

• A precise attention to detail

• A personality of a team player with excellent interpersonal skills who can work alongside a large interdisciplinary group.

• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:

• Completed Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology

• One to Five years' (or more) related work experience, although entry level staff will also be considered

• Proficiency in:

  • AutoCAD

  • Revit is an asset

  • Microsoft Office
