Bellcor Engineering is looking for a talented addition to join our engineering firm. We are looking for someone who is interested in and committed to the development and structural design of complex commercial, residential and infrastructure projects. The candidate must be registered as a Professional Engineer, or EIT, with Engineers PEI or be eligible to be registered with the association.

YOU HAVE:

• The ability to support Bellcor’s engineering team in the project delivery, structural design and analysis of bridges, buildings, industrial projects and marine structures

• The ability to manage of structural engineering projects and development of cost-effective design solutions

• The knowledge to contribute technical expertise on a variety of projects as part of various multidisciplinary teams including project engineers, technologists etc.

• The ability to prepare proposals, design criteria, preliminary designs, detailed engineering specifications, and reports

• Technical capability to guide and mentor the project team members including engineers and technical support staff

• The people skills to liaise with clients, government and regulatory authorities, and contractors

• The drive to develop and enhance client relationships and business growth

• A precise attention to detail

• A personality of a team player with excellent interpersonal skills who can work alongside a large interdisciplinary group

• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:

• Engineering Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering

• Structural Engineering related work experience is an asset, although entry level staff will also be considered

• Proficiency in:

  • AutoCAD

  • Etabs, SAFI, STAAD or similar design programs

  • Microsoft Office
